Last night was so far the most trying for me. Since Ayva is just one week old and I want to nurse for as long as I can, she has not had any bottles. I do not want to give her any bottles at least for the first couple weeks. Well, last night she decided to become a bit of a night owl and keep me up most the night. Usually, I feed her and if she gets upset and I know she is not hungry then i wake matt to soothe her. Last night she seemed more hungry, and needed to nurse more, along with being a little more cranky. I am not sure if she just wanted to be held, or if the sausage and greasy french fries and pizza i had for dinner upset her little belly. Hoping that she is not getting her nights and days mixed up, and hoping to keep her awake a bit more today. Most of all, no greasy food today. I want my sleep tonight. I let matt sleep thru it all. Here is how my night went.
11p.m. last feeding before i go to bed
12:00 finally off to bed
1:30 she decided she needed to eat again. Bare in mind.. she been going sometimes more than 4 hours!
back to bed at 2:30
only a few minutes after laying down, she gets upset, so i took her and went to the couch and we ended up fallin asleep till about 4:30am
between 5 and 5:30, up again.....hungry
6:15....finally happy, and full. But sleeping in our bed.
8am ...matt tells me he is leaving to help unload wood for his dad.
~~~I luckily talked him and his mom into taking Tyler so I could catch some more ZZZs.
We slept till about 10am.
not sure how much restful sleep sleep I got, but feeling ok now. just hoping for a more restful night tonight. Hope you enjoyed the new pics!
